I have been looking for a compact ammo pouch for my 6.5 CM rifle for some time. Cheap options out there are cumbersome and oversized for what I need. On a recent long-range excursion a buddy pulled out his ammo pouch from AEM and was telling me all about how it was made to order and from a small American company. Needless to say I had to order one and I couldn't be happier. Fit and finish is superb. Stitching is immaculate and my rounds are snug enough not to fly out but loose enough for easy insertion and removal. I will definitely be ordering more as the need arises.
I have been using a standard bullet carrying case when going to the range, which has worked fine, but logistically speaking is not the best option when considering all of the other gear required when shooting long distance. Saw the AEM ammo pouch and love its form factor being more tactical, easier to carry / use, and still provides a nice covered case for the rounds. Great product, fair price, great service.
These are great for carrying ammo. I found the 223 to be a bit large and did not hold shells tightly allowing a couple to slip out. On the short action there were a couple lines sewn so far in from the edge that they are effectively unusable though not a big deal to me. I liked them well enough to have ordered another 3 for my 300 Norma that is currently being built. They’re great for compact and silent carry in the field.
I am in the Marine Corps, and this is made better than some of my standard issue gear. It took a little long to get to me, but I am very happy with the product. Highly recommended.
